Heat embargos are very common as we approach the warmer weather months. Generally, airlines will not allow any animals on a flight when the temperature on the ground is 80 degrees or higher at their origin or destination. Each airline has different rules regarding temperatures, and can embargo any flight at any time–even right before they take-off. These regulations are in place to ensure the safety of your pet during their travels. If we encounter embargos during your pet’s travels, we will inform you, and adjust their travels accordingly. If you would like more information regarding heat embargos, please feel free to reach out to any of our Pet Relocation Coordinators and they will be happy to answer your questions!
